The prime reason to launch this forum is to share and assess the present status of management education in India and standing of Indian business schools at regional and global level. There are many versions of reality in absence of any structured report, developed and accepted by professors of management education. Prof. Philip Altbach writes in one of his papers - India is a world class economy without world class universities, though it is a comment on Indian higher education system. Indian business schools representing significant share in the global pie, are not representing the same way in research, quality of education, quality of educational systems, initiatives and innovation; however the quality of students is in the global best list. There could be many reasons including regulatory, system challenges, faculty issues, governance issues, market expectations, and industry isolation; but manifestation is a non-competitive business education ecosystem. This forum invites views, researches, and provocations to make a constructive debate which may lead to a settled assessment of management education ecosystem in India

The Blue Ribbon Committee on Accreditation Quality (BRC) has proposed adding a standard related to education outside of degree programs. The current accreditation standards already include some guidance regarding instructional activities beyond degree education, mostly addressing their utilization of resources. However, the BRC believes that this is no longer the right approach. Executive education involves educational activities that do not lead to a degree but have educational objectives at a level consistent with higher education in management. #Administration Faculty/Staff #eNEWSLINE #Administration School #Accreditation #Accreditation #Article-News/Media #Education Doctoral #Administration Program #Education Master's/MBA #Education Undergraduate
