Upgrade to the AACSB Member Forum community features

We are enhancing the member forum to increase ease of use and help users find relevant posts. Members can categorize their posts under relevant topics, enhancing the organization and discoverability of discussions. This update includes customizable digest options, enabling members to opt into topics of interest and receive tailored content updates.

Expert Directory

The expert directory module has been built to allow for customizable profiles for business members. Individual business members can add their areas of expertise and relevant resources to enhance their visibility within the community. This new, exclusive directory aims to facilitate connections between educational members and business members, providing a valuable resource for networking and collaboration.

Global Tagging System for increased organization

Pre-populated tags that you can use in your posts and across the Exchange.

COMING SOON Members will be able to join Networking Communities, like Affinity Groups, with the click of a button on the Exchange.

Introducing the new tagging system for our AACSB Member Forum! Our discussion forum will now have a simple, yet effective, requirement - selection of one or more topics that will “tag” your discussion posts. This tagging ensures that all content belongs to an account-approved category, which, in turn, makes all of the AACSB Member Forum’s content easily searchable.

Think of topics like tags - a great way to organize and categorize content within our community. To make this even easier, we have created a comprehensive list of topics that you will select from. By selecting one or more topics, you'll be able to find relevant discussions, resources, and updates more easily. Below are the topic categories and their associated topics that you will be required to use to label your content:

The AACSB Member Forum Community is your main hub for major discussions and best practices. In its current format, the forum does not utilize tags or any other form of content organization.  The Forum now has several topics that you will choose one or more of when posting.

What does this mean for the AACSB Member Forum?

All content will remain the same! Moving forward, you must select one or more topics (category tags) from a dropdown list when you create your post in the discussion. You can also add your own tags to your post using hashtags.

Can I follow topics in the AACSB Member Forum?

On your profile, you can manually select any of the Topic Tags that have been created as categories in the upgraded AACSB Member Forum. This is the easiest way to ensure that preferred content is included your digest email messages. Based on activity and how content is tagged in the topic community, you will receive a batch of Observed Interests within the AACSB Member Forum. Your actions become Observed Interests, which we track to help you see the content you care about most!

Will I still be able to add the AACSB Member Forum to my Weekly Consolidated Digest email?

The AACSB Member Forum will now have its own separate daily digest, which means it will no longer be included in the consolidated daily and weekly digest emails. This new daily digest will be personalized based on the Stated Interests you select in your profile and your Observed Interests as you interact across the Exchange. You can update your Community Notification preferences at anytime by visiting your Profile > My Account > Community Notifications.

We will be launching Exchange Essentials, a newsletter that provides information and discussions you may have missed in your communities, including the AACSB Member Forum
